Productivity is something that most people today struggle with, in fact it is said that 78.7% people struggle with productivity. We live in a world where nothing really requires energy anymore which makes a lot of people lazy. We can do everything from ordering groceries and socializing on our phones from the comfort of our own homes. This greatly decreases focus and productivity leaving everyone procrastinating their goals. So here are 10 ways you can kick that laziness and increase day to day productivity.

1.) Making your bed

Yes, making your bed increases day to day productivity. When you make your bed as soon as you wake up you are not only making your bed look nice but you’re setting the tone for the day. When our living space is neat it gives our mind room to think, relax, and focus. If you were to come home to a dirty room or house everyday then you most likely won’t be motivated to work or be productive due to the feeling of being overwhelmed. With making your bed everyday you are also completing a small daily task every morning which can later lead to the ability to handle both more and bigger task.

2.) Productive daily goals

One of the most effective ways to increase productivity is challenging yourself to 3 daily goals everyday. something as simple as doing 100 pushups, cleaning up, and reading 20 pages of a book. This will give you the momentum needed to be productive and eventually you will be knocking out task like its nothing feeling more productive than ever ! Goals also give you a sense of direction, some want to be productive but don’t know where to start. Well setting daily goals or weekly, monthly, and yearly, will give you direction where you can focus and be efficiently productive.

3.) Exercise

Daily exercise helps both physically and mentally. When exercising your body it stimulates the development of new mitochondria within the body. This gives you more energy throughout the day to keep your productivity rolling ! A simple 30 minute HIIT exercise can do the trick. You don’t need to get a gym membership either HIIT workouts can be done from our home ! Working out also releases endorphins in the brain leading to more happiness and motivation.
